The 432-Core Risc-V based Occamy processor board is ready to launch – with updated link!
The ETH in Zurich, together with the Alma Mater Studiorum Universita di Bologna presented the developments at the Design, Automation and Test in Europe Conference in March. The chip, named Occamy, is dual chiplet design with 216+1 Risc-V Cores with 2×16 GB HBM2e DRAM on a carrier PCB. It is one of the designs ESA is interested in for new space applications. The development started in April 2021 the interposer was taped out in October 2022 and now the final design is ready for tape out.
