The module is executed as a gender changer on the socket side so that inserting a commercially available RJ45 patch cable is all that is needed to make the connection. Two Category 6 solutions are available on the male connector: a field-installable version with an RJ Industrial interface and a module that is capable of accommodating corresponding Harting patch cables. The compact module incorporates a complete 360° shielded RJ45 metal coupler, and is 100% plug compatible with the company’s previous RJ45 module.
