
Robot enhances coding learning for students
The SPRK+ robot delivers hands-on learning and a vibrant community. The robot works together with the Sphero Edu app to provide scaffolded learning activities, lesson plans and games. The combination teaches children to code through drawing, blocks-based coding and JavaScript.
The SPRK+ robot is controllable through Bluetooth Smart over a 100ft range and can move at up to 4.5 mph, or 2m/s. It can be charged by inductive charging, which provides more than one hour of use on a full battery. New features can be added via app and firmware updates.
A special education pack is also available and includes a set of 12 robots is available for purchase by educational institutions.
