RS adds latest Sensirion humidity and temperature sensor

The SHT85 builds upon Sensirion’s SHT3x series, featuring CMOSens Technology that has been industry-proven for over 10 years. The SHT85 comes with a pin-type connector for easy integration and replacement, and offers excellent thermal coupling to its surrounding environment as well as decoupling from potential heat sources on the PCB.

Designed for harsh environmental conditions, the SHT85 also has a PTFE membrane that meets IP67, without affecting the response time of the relative humidity (RH) signal. Offering a fully calibrated, linearised and temperature-compensated digital output, other key features of the SHT85 include: final product level testing to deliver a typical accuracy of ±1.5% (RH) and ±0.1°C; an I²C interface with communication speeds up to 1MHz; fast start-up and measurement time; low signal noise; and an operating voltage from 2.15V up to 5.5V.
