Oregon-based Linx designs and manufactures antennas that allow developers to add wireless connectivity into a broad variety of IoT applications. These applications range from industrial automation to predictive maintenance and remote monitoring.

“As the IIoT and automation continue to grow, more and more devices need to gain the ability to connect,” said Adam Osmancevic, SVP – Global Supplier Development at RS. “Our partnership with Linx will give our customers around the world a broader choice of essential wireless technologies to leverage reliable connectivity anywhere, anytime.”

The selection of Linx products added by RS has been developed to be used in a wide range of applications, frequencies, and operating conditions. The range can be used for cellular, WLAN/WiFi, ISM, LPWA, GNSS and Remote-Control System (RCS) applications that need reliable wireless connectivity, from factory and workplace automation through to wearables.

The Linx range consists of telemetry antennas, WiFi antennas, 5G antennas, and GNSS chips, that come in form factors ranging from surface-mount chips through to larger, ruggedised external antennas.

Jason Russolese, VP of Global Sales at Linx Technologies, said: “We are thrilled to expand our European presence by partnering with RS. Our collaboration will bring our extensive antenna portfolio closer to customers in Europe to further support the success of their IoT solutions.”

The Linx Technologies range of antennas is in stock now at RS and can be shipped globally.
