Integrating FLIR’s Multi Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) technology, the FLIR E53 offers advanced thermal imaging capability. The camera is rugged and water-resistant to withstand tough environments and has been drop-tested from 2m. Other key features include Wi-Fi connectivity, a 5-megapixel camera, a 4-inch touchscreen with a 160-degree viewing angle and a 240×180 resolution detector that offers more than 43,000 points of temperature measurement and a temperature range up to +650°C.
Also newly available from RS are three FLIR handheld units that feature the company’s Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM) technology. The DM285 is an all-in-one industrial True-RMS digital multimeter and thermal imager that enables users to find hot spots or temperature anomalies. The device has a built-in 160 x 120 thermal imager can be used on the benchtop or in the field.
The CM275 is a clamp meter that combines thermal imaging with electrical measurement, providing a fast and reliable way to identify hot spots and overloaded circuits from a safe distance. The third device is the DM166, a highly affordable multimeter with a built-in 80 x 60 thermal imager.
The new FLIR DM62 and DM66 true-RMS digital multimeters combine a rich feature set, precise measurements and quality construction. The units offer measurement of voltage, current, frequency, capacitance, and temperature, as well as impedance for the DM66.
