The R&S TS8997 test system has been further developed and boasts now with additional functions. The system now can perform automated R&TTE measurements in the context of admission tests according to the new ETSI EN 301 893 v1.7.1 for wireless equipment in the 5 GHz frequency range. In addition, the system supports ETSI EN 300 328 measurements in the 2.4 GHz band. For the company’s R&S EMC32 EMC test software are new features available. For example, the K48 option enables the software to conduct shielding attenuation measurements in conformity with international standards. The K84 option for the same software generates test reports in the popular MS Word data format.

The R&S ESR EMI measurement receivers performs standard-compliant EMC certification in the frequency range from 9 kHz to 3.6 GHz and from 7 GHz to 26.5 GHz within seconds. The instruments do not only feature high measurement speed but also extensive diagnosis tools for the analysis of interference emissions. In addition, these instruments enable four-channel click rate measurements of household appliances in accordance with CISPR 14-1.

New features are also available for Rohde & Schwarz’s compact broadband amplifiers BBA150 and BBL200. The BBA150 product family now covers the frequency range from 9 kHz to 250 MHz and from 80 MHz to 1 GHz at an output power up to 1 kW. Thanks to their modular design, it is possible to flexibly configure complex systems. The amplifiers are suited for interference immunity measurements according to the relevant standards for commercial and industrial environments. The BBL200 family of amplifiers offers output powers up to 10 kW in the frequency range from 9 kHz to 225 MHz. These broadband amplifiers are water-cooled which makes enables compact design and low operating noise. Their high output power level and their ability to continuously provide maximum power even under mismatch conditions they are suited for interference immunity measurements where high field strength at poor antenna matching need to be achieved.

The exhibit can be visited on Rohde & Schwarz’s stand number 328 in hall C2 at the EMV 2015 exhibition which takes place in Stuttgart from March 24 to March 26.
