R&S presents IEEE 802.3cg 10BASE-T1S conformance test for the automotive industry
The new 10BASE-T1S conformance test software is intended for use with R&S RTO and R&S RTP oscilloscopes. It enables fully automated tests on 10BASE-T1S interfaces according to IEEE 802.3cg. As with other Ethernet standards, the R&S RTO/RTP-K89 compliance test software for 10BASE-T1S provides illustrated instructions that guide the user step-by-step through the measurements. Both the oscilloscope and the R&S ZND network analyzer are automatically configured by the software. The test results are output in a test report in PDF format. The comprehensive conformance test solution also includes a test fixture to simplify the connection of the 10BASE-T1S interface to the test setup.
With this option, Rohde & Schwarz completes its portfolio for tests on all available automotive Ethernet standards (10BASE-T1S, 100BASE-T1, 1000BASE-T1) and all other standard automotive buses (LIN, CAN, CAN-FD, FlexRay and CXPI). The oscilloscopes of the R&S RTO and R&S RTP series offer compact test solutions for all automotive bus interfaces and internal interfaces such as PCIe or DDR in the ECU development environment.
