Rugged 3D TLC NAND-based SSD holds up to 4TB

Powered by a flexible, custom flash controller, the HRS-T5E SSD provides read/write performance ideal for high throughput applications. Available in capacities up to 4TB, the 3D TLC NAND Flash storage solution has higher reliability, better performance and requires less power and cooling in applications where traditional hard disk drives (HDDs) are typically used. Improvements in 3D NAND, endurance-enhancing data placement and error correction technology, allow the T5E to be used as a cost-effective replacement for 2D planar based SSDs for read-intensive applications.

The T5E can be configured with a host of optional security features, including SMART’s Security Data Elimination Technology (SDET) and AES-XTS 256-bit encryption, which automatically protects all data written to the drive. The HRS-T5E also passes MIL-STD-810G standard and can be configured for OPAL 2.0 compliance.
