The SoM features two NVIDIA deep learning accelerator (NVDLA) engines that provide an open-source inference design method. The system also has pre-installed Linux OS, including the bootloader, Linux kernel, NVIDIA drivers, an Aitech BSP and flash programming utilities. I/O options inlclude Gigabit Ethernet, 10GBase-T, USB 3.0, HDMI output, UART Serial and CANbus as well as discrete and display ports.

The device offers seven preset power modes and users can also create custom presets with specific clocks and online cores. It operates on an input voltage from 11 Vdc to 36 Vdc. Input power is protected by an EMI/RFI input filter and reverse polarity protection.

Aitech’s EV178 evaluation board is available to quickly develop AI applications.
