Rugged TFT displays in a 6.3-inch ‘Letterbox’ format
With a resolution of 800×280 pixels, the displays are designed for use in panel and rack mounted equipment, portable instruments, domestic appliances and smart meters, KOE’s IPS display technology delivers exceptional colour saturation and image stability, high contrast and deep black levels. Viewing angles of up to 170° are supported in all directions (left/right, up/down). The 6.3-inch display modules feature a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a white LED backlight with a specified brightness rating of 1000cd/m² for the TX16D205VM0BAA, 500cd/m² for the TX16D204VM0BAA, and a 50K hour half-brightness lifetime. The new 6.3-inch display modules have been developed for use under extreme temperature (-30 to +85°C operating range), mechanical shock and vibration environments where guaranteed and consistent display operation is essential. A 50-pin CMOS interface supports 18-bit RGB data which enables a colour palette of up to 262K colours. Both modules measure 167×69.0x9.0mm with an active LCD area of 150.0×52.5mm.
