Rutronik adds energy-efficient Telit LTE Cat M1/NB2 module
The ME910G1 also provides an enhanced quality of coverage and is tailored for low-data throughput IoT applications.
The ME910G1 LTE UE Cat M1/NB2 module features a Power Saving Mode (PSM) with extended Discontinuous Reception (eDRX) to assist saving power. The feature wakes ME910G1 periodically to send the minimum data necessary before returning to sleep mode. The device provides maximum coupling loss (MCL) of up to +15dB/+20dB for better in-building penetration. It is compliant with 3GPP Release 14 with an increased date rate for LTE-M and NB-IoT that further increase efficiency. The module is also available with an embedded GNSS-receiver.
The ME910G1 is offered with global frequency bands configuration for global deployment and supports 2G fallback. With a common form factor of 28.2 x 28.2 x 2.2 mm as well as common electrical and programming interfaces the Telit xE910 product family allows developers to implement a “design once, use anywhere” strategy.
