Rutronik adds F7x0 and H7x0 STM32 MCUs
The F7x0 and H7x0 ranges are affordable performance-oriented MCUs that still provide numerous features and cyber protection. Both ranges cut the amount of embedded Flash on-chip to a minimum, while still allowing secure boot processes, sensitive code and real-time routines to run safely. External memory can allow systems to scale up for applications.
The entry-level STM32F730 features 1082 CoreMark performance at 216MHz assisted by ST’s integrated ART Accelerator for zero-wait-state Flash execution. It also offers cryptographic hardware acceleration, a USB 2.0 high speed/full speed port with PHY and a CAN interface.
The STM32F750 adds a TFT-LCD controller with the Chrom-ART Graphics Accelerator to the STM32F730’s specifications. Also included is a hardware acceleration for hash algorithms, two CAN interfaces, an Ethernet MAC, a camera interface and two USB 2.0 interfaces with high speed/full speed PHY.
With a CoreMark score of 2020 at 400MHz, the STM32H750 features high-end performance and offers a hardware JPEG encoder/decoder for faster GUI performance. The MCU also comes with a CANFD port and another CANFD with time-trigger capability as well as high-quality operational amplifiers and 16-bit ADCs with up to 4.5Msample/s.
