Rutronik adds Renesas S3A1 MCUs
To support the MCU family, the v.1.4.0 version update for the Synergy Software Package (SSP) ahs also been announced.
S3A1 MCUs feature many analogue and security features at a competitive price point. The MCUs are powered by an ARM Cortex-M4 processor with FPU operating at up to 48MHz. The processor is supported by 1MB Flash, a 192KB SRAM module, and security and encryption features (AES128/256, GHASH, RNG). A segment LCD controller, a capacitive touch-sensing unit, numerous connectivity options, a 14-bit A/D and a 12-bit A/D converter are also integrated. The maximum supply voltage is 5.5V.
To support MCU configuration, Renesas offers the TB-S3A1 Target Board Kit, which provides access to all pins and has standardised extension ports as well as pre-installed demo software.
The MCUs are available on Rutronik24.com in four packages (LQFP, QFN, 100LGA, 145LGA).
