Samsung recalls foldable smartphone
The reason is that several of the reviewers sent early models reported problems with the display, such as breaks and bulges and errors in the AMOLED screen. It is said that some journalists peeled off a layer of film on the screen that they mistook for a disposable screen protector.
The Galaxy Fold is expected to sell for $1,980. Samsung customers who have pre-ordered the smartphone have been told by email that they will be given some more information about a shipping date in two weeks.
In 2016, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 made iit to market before it displayed problems with lithium batteries exploding or catching fire. The company ended up recalling the product.
