Samsung to reveal tablet with10-inch AMOLED at MWC 2014?
There may be even a 8-inch variant revealed at the same time.
Korean media has been reporting that Samsung is preparing to start mass production of larger sized AMOLED tablet displays in the near future and a launch at MWC 2014 will be the confirmation that Samsung will be using the new tablets to boost its AMOLED production line capacity with the aim of making the larger screen AMOLED technology more affordable for mass markets.
Currently large size AMOLED panels are relatively costly to manufacture and will add to the price tag of the final tablet so the new products are likely to be top of the range tablets.
Samsung’s AMOLED display technology has been a key selling point of several of the company’s smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Samsung Galaxy
Note 3.
