
Sankhya synthesis to help develop US AI processor
The agreement is for the commercialisation and further licensing/sale of the processor architecture for one or more applications in AI, ML, blockchain, supercomputing and data science on a revenue sharing model, Sankhya said.
Sankhya offers a modelling, abstraction and synthesis capability to convert high-level descriptions of a processor architecture into an implementation. The company claims this can be automated.
Dreamchip Electronics Private Ltd. (Chennai, India), a company associated with Sankhya, used Sankhya’s Teraptor synthetic processor design platform (SPDP) to develop the Siddhi 32bit processor and associated SoCs
