SAR assessment system delivers instant regulatory compliance accuracy
ART-MAN applies a novel RF probe-array and amplitude/phase patented measurement technology, providing full 3-D Specific Absorption Rate measurements with high absolute accuracy in a matter of seconds. It is equipped with standards compliant head and body mannequins. The mannequins are sealed and filled with a highly time-stable broadband IEC 62209 / IEEE 1528 compliant tissue material. With ART-MAN, fluid adjustment and exchange is therefore a burden of the past.
ART-MAN allows testing of all available communication modes (GSM, WCDMA, WLAN, LTE, etc…) within the 0.7 to 6 GHz range. Due to its radio frequency design, it is also claims to be the first system ever capable of assessing 1g/10g peak spatial-average SAR from simultaneous multi frequency transmitters in a single measurement.
