Schaffner unveils safety version of IEC power entry module family
The filters are available with currents from 1 to 10 A both as a version for flange mounting as well as a snap-in variant. With the UL, CSA and ENEC approvals, the safety version of the IEC power entry module FN9260A can be used worldwide and complies with the requirements of RoHS and REACH.
In comparison with the IEC power entry module FN9260B, the safety version of the IEC power entry module FN9260A offers higher attenuation in the upper frequency range. The safety version FN9260A also fulfils the requirements of IEC/EN61010 and IEC/EN60601 for medical equipment and is also particularly suitable for applications with increased requirements for the leakage currents.
All IEC power entry modules of the FN9260 series have identical mechanical dimensions and thus support the device developed in realising EMC requirements for different applications quickly and flexibly and to increase the equipment immunity to faults from the mains power supply. With their compact design, IEC power entry modules of the FN9260 series also enable reliable interference suppression in confined spaces.
