The antenna is protected and sealed by ultrasonic welding. This half bridge antenna can be inserted into the bumper or trunk of the vehicle and/or in some locations subjected to extreme environmental condition. A waterproof connector is built-in with a proper plastic box to provide a fully sealed antenna system against any kind of dust and water ingress. The unit is operational in the -40 to +85ºC temperature range, its resonant frequency can be adjusted within ±1% and supports medium to large reading distances. The antenna comes with strong anchor points for easy assembly, it can be offered with custom L-C value.
