Secure MCU delivers advanced cryptography in a small package

By eeNews Europe

The MAX32558 DeepCover Arm Cortex-M3 MCU integrates secure key storage, a secure bootloader, active tamper detection and secure cryptographic engines into the package, while offering multiple communications channels such as USB, SPI, UART and I2C. Maxim’s support and technology network can also help streamline the certification process.

Gregory Guez, executive director, Micros, Security and Software Business Unit at Maxim Integrated said, “We have significantly shrunk the size of the MAX32558 microcontroller without compromising on our security features, saving valuable board real estate. Additionally, our deep security expertise speeds consumers’ time to market up to 6 months.”
