The architecture of the family combines ARM technology with Infineon’s contactless expertise and is intended for payment, identification and other applications. The SLC3x series is compliant with the latest EMVCo specifications.
All SLC3x products are based on the 32-bit ARM SecurCore SC300 dual-interface security cryptocontroller. This isenhanced by, which complements Infineon’s digital security technology and third-generation SOLID FLASH technology.
The SLC3x product family allows contactless payment transaction times under 200 milliseconds, even with low reader field strengths or in combination with small antenna designs. Robust and easy-to-integrate contactless or dual-interface packages such as Coil on Module support fast transition from contact-based to dual-interface solutions, while improving performance and reliability. The memebrs of the series come in a variety of ready-to-use delivery forms, such as small SPA modules with integrated ISO- and EMV-compliant antenna.
