SEGGER launches third product in emCompress software range
SMASH was specifically developed for embedded systems with low amounts of RAM. The software is fast, with low memory usage for compression and decompression and only uses memory as a buffer to hold uncompressed data.
emCompress-ToGo is the third member of the emCompress range. The other two releases support standard compression algorithms such as LZMA, DEFLATE, and LZJU90. The software is useful for many applications in the embedded market, including reducing the size of firmware updates and FPGA bitstreams and increasing the bandwidth of communication channels.
