Within the scope of the agreement, both parties have mutual access to an essential part of their respective counterpart’s patent portfolio, Seoul Semiconductor said in a press release. The company did not elaborate on technologies and conditions. The company however said that it expects that the agreement will "strengthen its technological flexibility in order to better serve the demand of our global customers." The company also pointed out that it has license agreements in place with further partners.
