This is the sequential read function applied to Winbond’s Quad Serial Peripheral Interface (Qspi).

In Sequential Read mode, the QspiNAND Flash products achieve the same 52Mbyte per second smaximum data rate at 104MHz as in Continuous Read mode but with added flexibility.

The flexibility includes the freedom to apply custom ECC [error code correction] engine and to access the entire memory array.

These 1.8V QspiNAND Flash products are available in densities of 512Mbit and 1 and 2Gbit. The 3.0V versions are available in densities of 2 and 4Gbit. Winbond is expanding capacity to meet new demand expected in both the automotive and IoT market segments.

The new W25N QspiNAND Flash devices are offered in 8-pin packages at 6mm by 8mm and 5mm by 8mm and as known good die.
