Sharp Devices Europe finalizes its restructuring: focus is on LCDs and LEDs
With this reorganisation in four business units, Sharp Devices Europe expects its workforce to be able to provide faster and more targeted assistance to design engineers throughout Europe.
The staff in each business unit operates with specialised market-oriented skills with a specific focus on LED components, industrial and medical applications or distribution. The integration of Sharp’s European Design Centre into the Europe-wide SDE organisation has given the SDE teams access to the extensive expertise of the Oxford-based design specialists. Customers are already benefiting from the additional technical know-how the SDE teams now offer and the added value of a comprehensive SDE package covering technical and commercial issues.
The President of Sharp Devices Europe is David Woodward and his Executive Vice-Presidents are Graham Cairns and Hideki Shibata.
