Shielded power inductor line adds high current series

Bourns has added 12 new high current model series to its shielded power inductor line.

The latest power inductors are manufactured with either a carbonyl powder core or a metal alloy powder core for currents up to 53A. The shielded construction provides high saturation and high heating current, low buzz noise and low magnetic field radiation.

The 12 shielded power inductor series are designed to meet the high current density and increased inductor reliability requirements now present in a growing number of power electronics designs.

This increased reliability, along with the series’ extended operating temperature range of -40 to +125 °C and multiple footprints, make these inductors suitable for power choke solutions for DC-DC converters and power supplies in consumer, industrial and telecom applications.

All 12 of the new high current shielded power inductor series, the SRP1038CC, SRP1245CC, SRP1265CC, SRP1770CC, SRP2313CC, RP3012CC, SRP3020CC, SRP4012CC, SRP4020CC, SRP5020CC, SRP5030CC and SRP7028CC are available now and are RoHS compliant and halogen free.
