The incubator offers early-stage startups access to in-kind support from strategic partners such as ARM, STMicroelectronics, Bosch, Texas Instruments, Synopsys, TSMC.

The additions to the portfolio are; 5D-Sensing Ltd. (Ramla, Israel), California Memory Technologies (Santa Clara, Calif.), Multifractal Semiconductors SA (Pretoria, South Africa) and Teramics LLC (Belmont, Calif.). This brings the total number of the companies in the Silicon Catalyst scheme at present to 18.

Since April 2015 some 30 companies have been admitted to the portfolio and 12 have moved on.

5D-Sensing is creating a multitechnology CMOS imaging sensor; Memtech provides memory controller IP and related software and firmware; Multifractal Semiconductor is a design team working on millimeter-wave front-ends in silicon and Teramic is also working on millimeter wave ICs.

The Silicon Catalyst Angels was established in July 2019 as a separate organization to provide access to seed and Series A funding for Silicon Catalyst portfolio companies.
