Zentri, founded in 2013, offers a combination of hardware modules and embedded and cloud software, APIs and development tools. The amount paid by Silicon Labs was not revealed.
“This acquisition builds upon our strategy to deliver comprehensive, multiprotocol silicon and software solutions to securely connect IoT products to the cloud,” said Tyson Tuttle, CEO of Silicon Labs, in a statement.
