Singapore startup offers design services down to 3nm
Sinble Technology Pte Ltd. (Singapore) is a 2022 startup formed to offer IC and subsystem design services with expertise in 8nm and above down to 3nm FinFET manufacturing processes.
The company claims to have an experienced team with substantial R&D and project management expertise in major foundries’ process technologies. The initial staff roster has experience in mobile devices, high-performance computing (HPC), and automotive.
Kevin Koh, CEO of Sinble, spent 12 years with MediaTek rising to the position of senior manager for high-performance CPU, before working as President of Faraday Technology in Vietnam. Sinble said it aims to expand the current engineering team from dozens of people to thousands within a few years.
Customers have the option to deliver RTL or netlist and Sinble can assist in design integration, CPU subsystem integration, CPU hardening, design and layout verification, synthesis, DFT implementation, and/or physical implementation.
“We are excited to launch Sinble and offer a flexible IC design implementation service to the market,” said Koh in a statement. “Our service is designed to provide our customers with exceptional IC design expertise and support, aimed at helping them achieve their chip design goals in an efficient, quality, and secure manner.”
