The SBC IB811, produced by iBase in the 3.5” format (102 x 147 mm), suits for a wide range of possible action scenarios. It can run off power supplies with voltages between 9 and 36 V; its components are selected for minimum power dissipation. Working environments with considerable temperature fluctuations are handled adequately. For this purpose, iBase accepts operating ambient temperatures, depending on the design, at -40 to 85°C or 0 to 60°C.  All these factors qualify the iBase IB811 for outdoor use and rough environments.

Latest Intel technology takes the digital pulse beat. The following processors are used: Atom x7-E3950 (quad-core, 1.60 GHz, burst 2.00 GHz, TDP 12 W, HD Graphics 505), Atom x5-E3930 (dual core, 1.30 GHz, burst 1.80 GHz, TDP 6.5 W, HD Graphics 500), Pentium N4200 (Quad-Core, 1.10 GHz, 2.50 GHz, TDP 6 W, HD Graphics 505), or Celeron N3350 (dual core, 1.10 GHz, burst 2.40 GHz, TDP 6 W, HD Graphics 500). Each CPU has an L2 cache of 2 MB and manages relevant virtualization techniques.

The available HD Graphics 500/505 supports DirectX 12, Direct3D 12, OpenCL 2.0, HLSL Shader Model 5.1, Vulkan 1.0 and OpenGL. The display output accepts HDMI 1.4b, DisplayPort 1.2 and eDP / 24-bit dual-channel LVDS

The IB811 offers two memory banks, which can be equipped with a total of 8 GB (DDR3L-1866/1600 SO-DIMM). This provides future-proof use of state-of-the-art 64-bit applications.

For communication with the outside world, the computer is equipped with a boad range of interfaces, including 2x Ethernet, 4x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0, 4x COM, 1x mSATA, 1x Mini PCIe (Full-sized), and 1x M.2 (B-key). Administratively supports the implemented watchdog function (256 levels), which can be used when necessary and reliably ensures extended fail-safety.
