The BL LP 7 SMD was designed for horizontal mounting with a single-row horizontal versions offered with 2 to 20 contacts. The BL LP 8 LED SMD and BL LP 9 LED were designed for the lighting industry which are usually sold with a small number of contacts. By using a natural coloured white LCP plastic no light is absorbed and a shadow formation is avoided. Single-row female headers come with 1 to 36 contacts for the THT design and 1 to 20 contacts for the SMD version.
