The sensor uses non-contacting technology ensuring a very long life and a high resistance against influences like shock, vibration etc. The RSM2800 can replace costly gear drive sensors and help to reduce total system cost. The housing is made of a special high grade temperature-resistant plastic material. Elongated slots allow simplicity in mounting together with ease of
mechanical adjustment. Other features include an encoder resolution of 16-bit and an electrical angle up to 5760° (16 turns), a continuous analog output signal across the selected angle range and protection to IP54 or IP67. The special backlash-free push-on coupling ensures extremely quick and easy installation. The sensor is not sensitive to either dirt or dampness.
