SiO silicone lenses solve COB optical issues
The optical lenses are engineering through an exclusive cold injection-moulding process customized by Khatod. Designed for street light applications, they comply with IESNA Standards: Type I – Type II – Type III – Type IV – Type V, short or medium light distribution depending on the LED used, and also comply with European ME3a requirements.
Designed for wide area lighting, outdoor and indoor, the lenses can be supplied with different beam angles depending on the application: 3 rotosymmetric, 4 asymmetric, 2 axially symmetric in x, y, measuring 111x110x32mm. Other features include excellent transparency; high optical efficiency; no birefringence; mechanical stability from –40°C to 150°C; flexibility at low temperatures; UV-resistance with no yellowing effect or micro-cracks. The units are immersion-proof and explosion-proof.
