Slimline public displays with LED backlight for industrial applications
The slim-line display has a high-quality TFT panel with an energy-saving Edge LED backlight. The screen is currently available in two sizes, one with a diagonal of 140 cm (55 inch) and the other with 117 cm (46 inch). Both high-quality monitors provide full HD resolution with 1920 x 1080 pixels and a particularly large colour depth of 1.07 billion colours with a picture refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The high brightness 450 cd/m² (typical) and a large viewing angle of 178 degrees make the high-gloss panels particularly suitable for daylight applications. The maximum contrast for the 140 cm variant (96T5522) is 5000:1 and for the 117 cm variant (96T4622) 4000:1. The LCD panel is characterized by a typical response time of 5.5 ms.
The slimline display is controlled by an analog/digital video interface with analog RGB VGA input and DVI-D digital input. The S-Video and the component video input are compatible to PAL, SECAM and NTSC. The OSD can be operated with a remote controller, a keyboard or from the RS232 interface. In addition to PIP (Picture-in-Picture) and PAP (Picture-and-Picture), a zoom function is also supported.
The following connections are provided: Display port, two HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, audio in (PC), component video and audio, S-Video and RS232C. Whereas the 96T5522 also provides S-PDIF Out, RS485 In and Net2Uart interfaces, the smaller system also has a Line Out connection in addition to a LAN connection. Because DVI Looping is supported as an option, as many as twelve monitors can be connected together to form a video wall.
The very thin ABLE Public Display is mounted in a high-quality, anthracite-coloured industrial housing with table base. A wall-mounting bracket for installation using VESA screw connections can be supplied as an option. The large-display system can be operated in portrait or landscape format and runs without a fan within the temperature range of 0° – +35° C. On request, the display can be fitted with two 10 W loudspeakers. The input voltage range lies between 100 V and 240 V (50/60 Hz).
