The HCM Series inductors are well suited for use with AC-DC and DC-DC converters with limited space, and where the need for common mode noise reduction is required.
The devices have an inductance of up to 400 microhenries and current capability up to 20 A. The inductors are made with a high μcore which allows for a decrease in the number of turns for a given inductance and an increase in the wire size. The core also has a high Curie temperature. The HCM Series has 1500 V RMS hi-pot and is designed to perform from -55°C to 130°C (ambient + temperature rise). The units are manufactured to MIL-PRF-27, Grade 5, Class S and have MSL3.
