The X7R 250 volt product expansion supports the need for increasingly higher voltages in automotive applications such as lighting, electric charging, sensors and EMI suppression. In addition, 230 volt power systems are common across the globe, and small case size 250 volt X7R capacitors are suited for high-power, small form factor devices. This series with capacitance values up to 0.47 microfarad and case sizes as small as 0603 may be combined with the company’s termination system to provide mechanical robustness, and complements Kemet’s portfolio of power inductor solutions.
