SMT compact terminal blocks eases LED assembly
Cable strands are inserted into the insertion openings, mechanically locked with a lever and the connection is perfect in an instant. No additional assembly space is required on the PCB side as the connector face points upwards. The new 4-pole LED compact terminal blocks are available as a SMT version. The contact material consists of tin-plated copper alloy, the insulator is made of high-temperature resistant plastic according to UL94 V-0. Both stranded and solid wires with conductor cross-sections of 0.21 – 0.35 mm2 (AWG 24-22) can be used. The new connectors are designed for a dielectric strength of 1kVAC and a current rating of 5A. Safe functionality is guaranteed within a temperature range of -40 to +105°C.
