Soft starter modules offer a broad range of current classes with a single footprint

The modules allow developers to take advantage of shorter development times and simplified production processes. The Power Start modules have a slim 55 mm footprint and offer a range of current options, rather than using several different types of housing, which is traditionally the case. The single case size allows a more straightforward module integration. The Power Start modules have an integrated heatsink, use double-sided cooling and do not require thermal grease. These cooling options mean that the modules can withstand overload currents of up to 2200 A for a duration of 21 seconds.
