The company’s software solutions for testing safety and mission critical embedded applications specifically supports Microsoft Visual Studio 2012. With this integration, developers can seamlessly test C and C++ applications built using Visual Studio compilers. This means that you can use the Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE) to design applications, and test them natively using the VectorCAST test suite.

The Visual Studio IDE, notes Vector, is considered one of the leading design environments for C and C++ developers, and Vector Software has supported the tool suite since 1998. The VectorCAST test suite for Microsoft provides complete, full-featured support for Visual Studio C and C++ compilers. This allows unit and integration test environments to be built using the same compiler environment that is used during development.

Vectors adds that its tool automate and manage the complex tasks associated with unit, integration, and system-level testing, to accelerate development and ensure the reliability of embedded software applications.
