Sony took half the CMOS image sensor market in 2018

The research give Sony half of a market worth $13.7 billion in 2018 and puts SK Hynix in fourth place.

Yuanta’s data conflicts with that of Yole Developpement. Yole marked the CMOS image sensor market at $11.6 billion in 2016 and $13.9 billion in 2017. Yuanta places it at $10.5 billion and $12.5 billion in those years, respectively.
