The 4.6 Gbit, 29 x 19 x 7.6 mm device weighs 6g and is packaged in a 191 BGA available with lead-free or leaded balls. It is radiation tolerant with a single event latch-up (SEL) threshold of over 60 Mev.cm2/mg. Available in industrial and specific temperature range for high reliability space applications, the space-qualified wide data bus DDR2 memory module is more specifically targeted for the Virtex-5QV FPGAs and DDR2 interface IP. The Virtex-5QV chips, which are Rad-Hard by design, are being rapidly adopted by the Space community. The memory module operates from 1.8V +/- 0.1V and supports data rates of 400, 553 and 667 Mbps.
