Product design and manufacturing services provider Tekhne (Valladolid, Spain) has developed the Myna Wi-Fi HaLow module with an embedded antenna.
The Wi-Fi Halow module is suitable for long-range IoT communications in industry, agriculture, smart cities and so on.
The technology offers a range of approximately 1km, at a data rate of up to 15Mbps with good penetration of walls and other obstacles. Up to 8k less one client devices can be supported per access point and can operate from a coin cell battery for months or years.
Myna has a tunable speed and provides OTA firmware updates and WPA3 security. There is an evaluation board.
Tekhne will exhibit Myna in Hall 5 on booth 5-371 at the Embedded World exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany.
