The SKYA21001 features low insertion loss (0.4 dB at 2.4 GHz) and positive voltage operation with low DC power consumption (10 μA). It is ideally suited for automotive applications such as infotainment, telematics, automated toll systems, garage door openers, 802.11b/g/n WLAN, Bluetooth, remote keyless entry, and GPS/navigation.

According to Skyworks, additional key features of the SKYA21001 include a IP1dB of +30 dBm typical at 3 V and an IP3 of +43 dBm typical at 3 V. It comes in a miniature SC-70 (6-pin, 2 mm x 1.25 mm) package and is designed and manufactured in an ISO/TS16949-certified facility. Qualifications include AEC-Q100 and JEDEC (JESD22) at 25 °C
