Spectris merges subsidiaries
Both BKSV and HBM are regarded as world market leaders in their respective disciplines. The strength of BKSV lies in the measurement of sound and vibration, while HBM addresses the areas of reliability, durability, drive efficiency, electrical properties, industrial process control and weighing.
The merger will build on each company’s best capabilities. This will also be reflected in the name of the new company – HBK (Hottinger, Brüel & Kjær).
By combining the strengths of two market leaders in their fields, HBK will have the critical mass and expertise to actively drive the digital transformation of our customers’ industries and deliver even more value to our customers around the world.
All existing agreements, contacts, procedures, partnerships, etc. will continue unchanged, the company announced.
