ST, China’s Unilumin develop LED display with 60GHz connectors

The ST60A2 offers point to point data transmission of up to 6.25 Gbps over distances to a few centimeters. The chip is suitable for industrial environments as it operates over an extended temperature range of -40 to +105°C. Moreover, ST60A2 offers the flexibility of compatibility with a range of antenna configurations. With a 2.2mm by 2.2mm package footprint, the chip provides contactless connection with power consumption of 70mW.
Unilumin Group Co. Ltd. has been the world’s leading exporter of LED displays for five years consecutively, ST said.
