ST, Leti CEOs to keynote European MEMS summit
The event, previously organized by the MEMS and Sensors Industry Group (MSIG) and now under the auspices of the industry body SEMI, will also include keynotes from CEA-Leti CEO Marie Noelle Semeria and Fraunhofer Institute for Photonic Microsystems (IPMS) Director Hubert Lakner. Other speakers will explore the role of MEMS, sensors and actuators in autonomous vehicles, robotics, smart IoT, biomedical and consumer applications.
And in 2017 the MEMS Summit has been co-located with the European Imaging & Sensors Summit.
Laith Altimime, president of SEMI Europe, pointed out that Europe has a world-leading focus on MEMS, sensors and imaging with Bosch and STMicroelectronics each investing more than €1 billion in imaging, MEMS and semiconductor manufacturing in Europe.
The MEMS event includes speakers from LG Electronics, Oculus Research, Murata, InvenSense, Libelium as well as a technology showcase and exhibition area.
