Startup funded to use cloud, ML to develop EDA software
X-Times said it plans to apply cloud computing and machine learning to the development of EDA software. It claims in this way the company can increase levels of automation, shorten design cycles and improve PPA (power, performance and area) trade-offs.
One hundred million yuan is approximately US$15.7 million suggesting X-Times DA has raised more than $30 million, a considerable amount for an EDA startup.
This round of financing is led by SK China and Xiangfeng Investment China. Earlier investors also contributed, including Yunhui Capital, Gaorong Capital, Songhe Capital and Sequoia China.
