Startup funds AI-powered generative engineering platform
Singapore-based Motion G has closed a new round of funding led by Episteme, Inc., securing an additional US$16 million. The startup plans to accelerate the developments of data-centric foundation models, digital twin and automation software to significantly speed up the industrial engineering processes.
Through its AI-powered generative engineering platform, Motion G delivers groundbreaking integrated solutions for industry applications including motion control and flexible transport, raising the bar for productivity by accelerating projects from concepts to reality with unparalleled speed and accuracy.
AI and smart software will fundamentally change the engineering processes of product design, verification, testing, manufacturing and services, and this paradigm shift is a great opportunity to improve the industry energy efficiency in the short term as well. Singapore based Motion G is developing the intelligent engineering platform to capitalize on the above trends and opportunities. The platform can significantly reduce the R&D cost and time to market, enable feature on demand for low-cost delivery, verify designs in real time, and make the industrial products smarter and more efficient to operate.
As its first application, Motion G’s intelligent engineering platform has revolutionized traditional motion control. The platform has been adopted rapidly by the manufacturers of flexible transport systems, Li-ion battery, food and beverage packaging systems, oil drilling rigs, industrial robots, semiconductors, 3C devices, automated guided vehicles, and electric tools.
By leveraging advancements in machine learning, AIGC, data science and digital twin technologies, the firm aims to revolutionize the engineering process to significantly drive productivity.
In its pursuit of transforming traditional testing practices, Motion G is also creating an intelligent testing system which will enable engineers to seamlessly combine generative virtual trials with real-time field testing, dramatically increasing overall efficiency.
Through these exemplary innovations, Motion G is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what is possible and engineering a productivity revolution across industries.
This follows an earlier round where Motion G recently raised over US$15 Million in Pre-A round, led by New Wheel Capital.
