STMicroelectronics chooses Macronix NOR Flash memory
ST made the decision to use the MX25LM 8-bit I/O Serial NOR Flash based on its “instant-on” performance and real-time system responsiveness. The high-performance 8-bit I/O Serial NOR Flash Memory products have an operational frequency of up to 250MHz with 500MB/s read throughput. The STM32L4+ is an ultra-low-power MCU that delivers high processor performance with large on-chip memory. ST’s STM32L4+ MCUs are designed to operate as the central controller in a range of low-power applications that demand instant responses and minimal downtime for battery charging, including smartwatches and fitness bands.
